The unique joking style that you bring day and night

The laughter around our home.

The presence. The essence.

The distinctive lavender smell,

That you naturally generate

Around our home. Day and night.

Coming home to you,

Waiting for you to come home

We are both each others home.

Your eyes,

The deep morning look

That sets on my eyes.

Your eyes,

Full of love, joy and hope.

Your hands,

The way that they become one

When they intertwine mine.

Your presence,

It is gray when you are gone

Your presence: Iluminates my world.

 Things That I miss

Your deep gaze upon me,

As we embark on conversations

Your blue, gray, green eyes.

Your unexpected jokes,

While I am emerged in my own thoughts

Your charismatic and honest smile.

The way you say, "Te amo"

The way  you smile when I say it

These are the things that I miss.

Perennial Love

These roses may not last long,

These roses may die, may live just enough

These roses are for you to enjoy.

While roses are beautiful,

They look simple, in comparison to you

Your presence will make them live longer.

Just like perennials in a garden,

Beautiful, full of life and joy, in the sun

My love erradiates equally for you.

Our love may not be perfect,

Our love may have good and bad seasons

Nonetheless, it will always come stronger.
